Summary
What does this car say about you?
Boring and practical
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They liked the design and ride but they didn't have to own it!
Would you buy this car again and why?
No. The reliability was poor and the space in the back wasn't great for a large car. Our other car is a MK5 Golf which had more rear leg room and was by far a better car.
What are you likely to buy next?
Hyundai Coupe. Had one before and liked the reliabilty and drive.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£9,000
When did you buy the car?
July 2008
Did you get a good deal and why?
Gave me a good price on my part ex and knocked money off the asking price. I now know why, they were desperate to offload a poor car.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Needed something with more room than my previous sports car.
What was the dealer like?
Like most was ok when the deal was been made but pretty poor since then. Won't be using them again.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Takes a bit of time to get used to long nose depending on what car you've driven before. It's more a cruiser as it can be a bit sluggish off the mark due to it's size.
What's it like to park?
Depends on how good you are at parking. I didn't have any problems but the wife hated parking it as she said the front end was hard to judge.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Yes. The clutch went with less than 40K on the clock. Seemingly this is a common fault on this car but no one at Peugeot will admit this. How can a car costing over 20k and only 2 years old burn out a clutch with such a low mileage. Would have cost £1200 to repair as not covered under warranty!
What's most practical about your car?
Space and economy when on a run. Could get over 50mpg if you took it steady.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Bluetooth, Panoramic roof and 6 speed box
