Summary
What does this car say about you?
Like to stand out from the crowd. You either love the looks or hate them. I personally like things that are a bit different/quirky.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They all liked it overall - I think some were a bit snobbish at first but as soon as people get in and see the glass roof, they warm to it. Its a nice car to be in.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes because it was perfectly reliable in the three and a half years we owned it. But no, because I never buy the same car twice as there's too much choice on the market!
What are you likely to buy next?
Have just bought an Audi A6 Estate.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£12,500
When did you buy the car?
August 2008
Did you get a good deal and why?
I bought from Platts in High Wycombe. We agreed a deal over the phone and I was happy with the price paid.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I needed a relatively new, diesel auto estate without spending big bucks.
What was the dealer like?
Excellent. No pressure. Dealership had a decent family-run feel. Much better than some of the larger franchise dealers I visited when looking.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It was a decent enough drive. Not a terribly dynamic or involving car, but it got you from A to B very well. You get what you pay for. If you want a dynamic and involving drive, spend twice as much and get an Audi or BMW.
What's it like to park?
Not too bad at all considering the size. Parking sensors were standard and are a must-have.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
80,000 miles over three and a half years, nothing other than standard maintenance.
What's most practical about your car?
Comfortable and fairly economical. A great motorway cruiser. Decent size boot for large dog and holiday packing.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Built-in sat nav. Huge glass roof is wonderful - why don't all cars have these now?
