Peugeot 508 SW (2011 - 2018) 2.0 HDi (140bhp) Active 5d Owner Review

Bought as the price was right for an ecomical day to day car dealing with family and pets that could also tow our caravan and have to say it has been brilliant. Tows a mid size caravan with no issue but perhaps needed the higher 163bhp engine on occassion if facing a tough incline. General 30 mile commute to and from work yields 43 mpg whilst on a run at 70 returns 60mpg which is brilliant. Nice and quiet, comfortable and does what I have needed. Only problem I had was a light bulb failed...how inconvenient :-) I have been pleasantly surprised what a nice car it is, generally positive reviews prompted me on purchase and happy that I made a good choice. Bought from Evans Halshaw in Stourbridge and they were very good, would use them again, arranged detachable tow bar fitting at a very competitive price.
