Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I was a sucker for good looks and bargain basement gadgets.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They liked it before it started going very wrong.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Never in a million years. I've owned over 30 cars and have not ever experienced motoring this awful. The build quality is terrible ( replaced front windows and windscreen due to loud whistling ) and the overall reliability is way below standard. An utterly awful motoring experience.
What are you likely to buy next?
Anything that isn't French.

£18,995
When did you buy the car?
December 2012
Did you get a good deal and why?
An ok deal - car came with nearly all available extras.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Size, comfort, looks, performance and value for money.
What was the dealer like?
Evans Halshaw York - they were great at selling but shockingly bad in service. The car didn't come with an owners manual or service book, it wasn't valeted. The technicians didn't know how to re-program the Bluetooth connection ( I did it and showed them how... not hard ) nor did they know how do operate the quick-release tow bar. When the car started developing numerous faults, my calls were never answered, emails not returned etc. Only the threat of justified legal and media attention did something. Absolutley useless, unprofessional and give car dealers and car salesman the undeserved bad name. Please avoid these lawless bunch of outlaws - they are truly awful.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
A nice comfortable car to drive if you like to cruise on the motorways. The engine is powerful with good amounts of torque through the range, just a shame there is a lot of lag between driver input and the car responding. It's almost too big and heavy for it's own good. Whilst this is great on a motorway or a long drive, using it around town or short trips becomes tiresome - with little driver feedback and a sense of lethargy from the car.
What's it like to park?
Horrific. This car has the turning circle of a Supertanker. Front and rear sensors are a must ( standard on GT ). Even then, you'll look like a berk trying to straighten it up in a space time after time.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Loads and loads and loads.... In total, the car had to go back to the local dealership ( Robins and Day, Coventry - who were excellent ) a total of 48 times. A selection of faults were : 2 x Gearbox issues ( grinding when selecting park or reverse ) 4 x Keyless Entry handles failed ( every door had to have the ecu replaced ) Random stalling when approaching a roundabout/junction. Gearbox wouldn't change up from 3rd to 4th Gearbox would respond from starting Rear Suspension replaced Alarm sensors replaced ( alarm went off at random ) Immobiliser replaced ( car wouldn't start ) Handbrake failed ( emergency release didn't work ) The list goes on and on and on.... I would never, ever buy another Peugeot again.
What's most practical about your car?
Free coffee when it's in the garage.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Warning Lights - they worked.
