Peugeot e-2008 SUV GT Line Electric 50kWh 136 auto 5d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
EV driving is the future. Ownership is very easy. Just plug & play. The e2008 has a wide range so something to suit everyone & is a pleasure to drive. It is quick but not a sports car, but that’s not why you buy these cars. The range falls steeply in winter/cold months but is much better in the warmer months. Servicing costs are ultra cheap compared to piston engines cars. My only real complaint is around the initial cost to buy, which is currently way too high compared to the “ICE” equivalent & also the infrastructure needs to be upgraded at a much quicker rate than it is now. Having said that charging is reasonably easy using the many apps currently available to locate charging points all over the country. The costs to do a public charge are obviously higher than a home charger but still much cheaper than the cost of fossil fuels. The e2008 someone worked it is completing the equivalent of 180miles per cost of a gallon of fossil fuel. I would say to anyone considering an EV - look for one with at least a rating of 50kwh if it is to be your main car. If it is a 2nd car then almost all of them will make you smile every time you pass a petrol station. Go on.......join the revolution.
How reliable do you find the car?
To date I have not had any major issues or faults. The only fault so far is the n/s/f windscreen washer has stopped working.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
