Peugeot RCZ Coupe (2010 - 2015) 1.6 THP GT (200bhp) 2d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
Easily the most eye-catching car you can buy for under £10k. The 200 THP petrol is vastly superior to the 156 in both performance and reliability (the 200 has the N18 engine, whereas the original 156s had the much-troubled N14).
The 200 is quick and punchy, but if you give it a stage 1 remap as I have, it becomes a seriously quick piece of kit with even more torque than the RCZ R!
You'll see a lot of people complain about the reliability of this car, but 99% of the time they've not been taking proper care of it - it's not a Mondeo! Give it good oil, premium low ethanol petrol and give it a full service every 7,000 miles and you'll have a bulletproof beauty of a motor!
The 200 also has shorter gearing, improved sportier suspension, larger disc brakes and a smaller steering wheel than both the 156 and the Diesel variants. The R may be slightly faster (not by much if you remap a 200), but the original pre-facelift 200 will always be the best looking of the bunch!
