What does this car say about you?

This is probably the most unfortunate thing about this car. Because of the city boy image. Some buy a Porsche to pose and others for the driving experience.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Friends and family love it as they are all keen drivers. No idea what the neighbours think.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes. It is well built, reliable, solid, relatively economical (30mpg + on the motorway) not to mention fast and fun to drive. I use the car every day and love driving it.

What are you likely to buy next?

I will buy a 997 next as it is a little quicker and slightly more comfortable.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Yes I did. The credit crunch had taken its toll and the dealer was struggling to sell the car.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

It's a great driver's car, reliable, and holds its price well. It is also surprisingly economical.

What was the dealer like?

Very helpful, used to selling 911s and was more than willing to allow extended test drives and inspections.

What's it like to drive?

Great. The chassis is more than capable of dealing with the power. The handling is great but it is difficult not to get carried away. A and B roads are where it is at its best, keep the revs above 4000 and the pace is surprising.

What's it like to park?

Not too bad. Flared rear wheel arches make parallel parking a little more difficult than usual. I always end up slightly further from the kerb than expected. Small sacrifice..... Front and rear visibility are good so no problems there.

Have you had any problems with the car?

No. Totally reliable so far but I have only covered 7000 miles.

What's most practical about your car?

It is surprisingly easy to drive around town and is well behaved in traffic. No blind spots, easy to park and comfortable over long journeys. Not the best for luggage space but plenty of room for two people's luggage.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

I have fitted a decent sat nav, blue tooth stereo as the standard one is pretty useless.
