Summary
What does this car say about you?
This car says that I have taste and that I enjoy the experience of driving. Probably doesn't give the impression that I'm practical.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They're impressed and everyone wants to have a ride in it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Without a doubt.
What are you likely to buy next?
Not sure.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£35,000
When did you buy the car?
June 2012
Did you get a good deal and why?
I paid a fair price for the spec and age of the car. Managed to haggle a bit off the price though.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Always wanted a sports car. The 911 is common enough not to draw unwanted attention, but has the reputation to be a true practical driver's car.
What was the dealer like?
Bought from the official Porsche centre in Reading. Good, helpful service. Having a 45 min test drive from a professional driver really helped me to make my mind up.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Perfect in all conditions. It's as happy pootling around town as it is on the backroads and motorways. The feedback you get through the steering wheel and your backside tells you exactly what's happening.
What's it like to park?
With the large hind quarter bulges, it can be somewhat difficult to reverse into parking bays until you get a good feel for the size of the car. Low seats and long coupe doors means you need to find a larger space to open the doors (unless you're slim or a contortionist).

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing as yet apart from me stalling it a few times.
What's most practical about your car?
Excellent all round vision, good seats, clear ddash displays.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Steering wheel, accelerator pedal, engine. Pretty much sums it up. With this kind of car, you don't need the toys.
