Porsche 968 Coupe Sport 2d (1995/N) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Aside from awesome engine, not a lot for your £. Depreciates like mad.
Costs
You know it's going to cost - always waiting for something to happen that will cost loads.

On the road
Driving
I've had much more fun in less powerful and cheaper cars. You'd have to be a good driver / on track day to get most out of car.
Performance
Blistering engine, but handling mediocre. No TCS and rear wheel drive slips in wet.

Living with it
Reliability
Due to age, outer trim is wearing/loosening. Belts went - £600. If you're on a budget, don't bother.
Image
Car still turns heads and looks great. One of the best looking coupes around.
Comfort
Suspension is so hard you feel every bump! No leather or air con, no gadgets. Poor boot. I used it as an every day car, but not always a pleasure.

Security and Service
Security
Cat 2 fitted as standard, but you will need a Cat 1 for insurance.
Service
Courtesy car when in for service. Very polite, as you'd expect paying such steep bills. Go to specialist for any work and Porsche for service stamp.
