What does this car say about you?

It seems to say so many things to different people. I hope it says that I love cars and know what I am talking about. But some think differently!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

First off - How come you have got a Porsche with two kids. Good for you.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes - But it needs a fresh and sleeker update. New 987 Boxster is too much like the 986 and has gone all muscle bound.

What are you likely to buy next?

Stick with the 986 until a better update comes along - Although tempted by the Cayman

Did you get a good deal and why?

Ok Deal - At the time demand was high and supply was low for top quality cars in good colours ! Car was low mileage (16k) and I ended up with 2 years warranty

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Looking for a performance 2 Seat Soft-top that was great to drive, able to carry a child passenger on a booster seat, 3 yrs old or newer, less than 20k, and reliable enough to use every day. First choice was a Honda S2000 but you cannot switch off the passenger airbag. Struggled then as Porsche Boxster was too expensive and I disliked the BMW Z4 looks and put off by its reviews. Everything else was discounted early as either too unreliable (TVR) or too slow (MX-5). Ended up upping the budget and never regretting it.

What was the dealer like?

Poor buying experience as the car wasn't clean when picked up But excellent after sales since.

What's it like to drive?

Brilliant - Had it around Donnington Park and everyone was amazed by what it could do.

What's it like to park?

Not great - But so what.
