Summary
What does this car say about you?
Before buying the car I would have said the car would have said that I appreciate great handling, performance and quality. But after just a few months of ownership I can say that there are a lot of cheaper alternatives out there that do a much better job than the Boxster.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They'll loved it at first but when they saw how much money I was throwing into repairs they were shocked.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Never!! Porsche reliability and build quality is not what it thought it was. Very very disappointed as this was my dream car and it was a total let down! They have so many "common problems" it's a joke! It has put me off purchasing anything from this brand for life.
What are you likely to buy next?
Already purchased a new car. Couldn't stand living with the Boxster a second more!

At the time it seemed like a good deal, but this was a different story a month in to owning the car!
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Looks, performance, badge appeal.
What was the dealer like?
Useless! Knew nothing about the car, no real knowledge just had the gift of the gab.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
The car was my daily driver and I would not recommend it on that bases. Driving this car in traffic was a nightmare! Heavy clutch, steering. Visibility is poor from drivers position making tight squeezes very nerve racking. On the open road the car picks up speed well. Handling was good until there was a slight bump in the road, at which point the front end of the car would go very leery, light and jumpy. Sports chrono was great on smooth roads and together with the PASM the combination was good but never really rewarding to drive. Brakes were good.
What's it like to park?
Wasn't a problem even without parking sensors.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Where do I begin! Car needed a new clutch and flywheel kit at just over 20,000 miles! Suspension strut replaced, the alloys buckle for fun at the site of the smallest imperfection in road surface.
What's most practical about your car?
Having 2 boots in a sports car was very practical.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
PASM suspension and sports chrono.
