Porsche Boxster (2012 - 2016) 2.7 2d PDK Owner Review

In their own words
I have had my 981 Boxster since new, 6 years. It’s amazing in every way. Accelerates smoothly until I select Sport Plus (part of the Chrono package) and then it’s savage. The engine noise wakens your senses. The PASM and PTV options on mine mean it handles like it’s on tram lines. And 6 years on, it still looks fantastic. It’s expensive to maintain, mine always goes back to the dealership where I bought it. No issues with reliability at all. I have had to replace all 4 tyres (due to age not wear as Porsche recommend tyres are replaced at 5 year intervals). And I have had to replace both air con radiators due to them leaking following strikes from stone chips- due to others pulling in front of me and not me driving too close behind others. Tyres- expensive, air con rads - expensive (mine now have some protection from ZunSport grills, well worth the investment). I’m not selling my mint 981 - last of the 6 cylinder normally aspirated mid engine sport cars.
If you can find a mint one, buy it quick- you won’t be disappointed.
Mine is a dry weather recreational car, not sure it’s practical for everyday use.
