Summary
What does this car say about you?
Hopefully that I have some taste and I'm not a hair dresser (no offense to hair dressers). This new Boxster is a much more striking car than previous models and I've had a lot of admiring looks (not me, the car) since I've had it.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They love it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
This is a weekend toy, so i will likely keep it for some time, but based and the few months I've had it so far I would buy another. Only small gripe is the amount of wind blast with the roof down. Possibly the worst I've had in any convertible I've had.
What are you likely to buy next?
No idea, this one will be hard to beat for looks, fun and all round practicality.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£47,000
When did you buy the car?
May 2013
Did you get a good deal and why?
Not sure about a good deal, you have to have a different view on deals when you buy a Porsche.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
It's a weekend toy but had to have enough room for the golf clubs.
What was the dealer like?
Very good. Delivered it to my home 2 hours from their dealership (West London Porsche) and then sent a man a couple of days later just to put the private plates on.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
I wasn't out to buy a boxster, but a test drive sealed it. Nothing else I drove came close.
What's it like to park?
Not great to begin with as visibility not great, however I have radar front and back which works very well and you get used to it.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Not a thing so far, but hoping the German engineering will keep it fault free for years to come.
What's most practical about your car?
Luggage space. I needed a car to take clubs and a trolley and not put anything on the seats and after trying a Jag XK, 911, Cayman and even a DB9, this is the only car that can do it. It's a tightish fit in the rear boot and you need to choose the bag carefully but it works. Trolley, shoes and space for additional soft luggage in the front boot.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
PDK box is excellent.
