What does this car say about you?

It lets people know you cant afford anything better , than this , people stared at it when I first bought it home because I think I was the first customer to own one with the sport logo and people thought it sporty and were surprised it was a proton .

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Some like it some dont ,you cant please everyone .

Would you buy this car again and why?

No way , its to small ,to expensive for what it is , loses value , 7k in two years is really bad .

What are you likely to buy next?

I need a larger car and a four door ,I cant achieve a decent and acceptable part exchange from other car dealers so I may part exchange for a Proton Gen 2 Saloon at least I can achieve nearly half of its purchase value and run the next Proton into the ground and then see what happens after that .

When did you buy the car?

    September 2010

Did you get a good deal and why?

I got a good deal because the Satria Neo Sport was not selling at all well , and then after two years and wanting to part exchange , and the Proton has lost £7295. in value .to a non-franchised dealer ,so if you want a Proton be ready to take a big hit when selling .

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I liked the looks on the Proton website .and I have found previous Proton cars well put together.

    What was the dealer like?

The dealer was excellent cannot be faulted they come from London to collect my car for repair and servicing and deliver it back to me on completion , nothing is to much trouble Proton are lucky to have this dealer .

    What's it like to drive?

Noisy , on motorways , and very thirsty as well standard tyres have no grip in the wet , very low riding position ,all other road users seem to tower over you on the road , and most motorists hate being overtaken by a Proton Car ,.

    What's it like to park?

Easy to park , Mirrors fold in so that saves you finding they are missing when you park in a supermarket car park , shoppers hate the car as well I found a scrape along the offside rear wheel arch and it has cost £155 to repair .
