Summary
What does this car say about you?
It says that I am not bothered about image as the Proton name is not the coolest although the car most certainly is. I bought this for my wife and she absolutley adores it.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
So far, every one has says how good it looks and how my wife looks the part driving it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes-it's got bags of character and is great fun. Also the dealer have proved their worth.
What are you likely to buy next?
That is some years away but may well be another Proton.

Yes

£6,350
When did you buy the car?
March 2008
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes, in addition to the £750 reduction offered by Proton I managed a further £200
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Could not find any thing else on the market to match it's value for money or warranty. It looks different. The Dealer is very good
What was the dealer like?
Excellent. Had a small niggly problem within an hour of purchase. Although the car spent the next 3 days back at the delaer, the dealer apologised profusely, collected and returned the car, left my wife with another Savvy in the meantime, they filled her tank up on return, gave her a bunch of flowers and Proton agreed a free service at 10,000. You can't ask for more than thatnow can you?

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Great fun. More suited to town driving than motorways. Likes to be driven hard and holds the road really well. The power steering is very good being slightly weighted so you still get some feedback
What's it like to park?
A doddle because it's short and has a parking sensor.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
As mentioned, the only problem was a faulty sensor to the engine management warning light.
What's most practical about your car?
Four doors, driver seat adjustment, split seats. This car puts a smile on my face every time I look at it. Looks wise I think it is in a class of it's own.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The alloy wheels, spiler although my wife would say the CD player
