Renault Captur (2013 - 2019) Signature X Nav TCe 90 (04/17 on) 5d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
At first I wasn't to sure but now after nearly 4 years the Captur has been a great car. It is a small engine but overall great to drive and being a crossover the height and seating position gives a great view of the road. The 3 cylinder turbo is a good choice and isn't that expensive to run but the diesel might be more suited for longer driving that or the 1.3 tce as its got an extra 6th car but the 0.9 is good for long journeys most of the time is quite but can get a bit loud in 5th on longer journeys.
Interior space is very good great headroom and legroom also a decent sized boot too and the sliding rear seats means that you can increase boot space and if you want even more room you can remove the false floor which gives greater depth in the boot. Storage is good aswell on the dashboard you've got a small compartment and also on higher spec models you get an armrest which opens to reveal an additional storage compartment other then that the door bins are a good size and you 3 cupholders aswell rear door bins aren't as big but are useful as not all cars have them in the rear. Even the entry level spec of the car is well equipped but the higher spec Signature is a good choice.
The Captur is a stylish car aswell especially in Cosmic Blue with contrasting Mystery Black roof which really makes the car stand out and the 17 inch alloys finish it nicely. Lower spec Captur's don't always come in two tone paint but still looks good and I find stand out more from other similar cars in the Captur's class.
Overall the Captur is a good car stylish design and good to drive couldn't recommend it highly enough.
Would recommend for anyone considering one they are a good second car to buy.
