On the road
Driving
Quite an enjoyable experience as a first car once you change the skinny tyres for better ones. No power steering is hard work though. Gets 5 speed geearbox and newer (and much more reliable) engine than the older models.
Performance
For a base model, ins group 3, very good. Will cruise (with a bit of noise) at 80-90 comfortably on the motorway, and will handle most A roads fine, can run out of puff a bit up a hill though.

Living with it
Reliability
Never broken down on me in 15000 miles, but lots of small issues. Nothing major
Image
Clio has good image. With some nice alloys looks much nicer that a lot of hatches. Facelift looks much more fresh than older clios
Comfort
Very comfortable seats, a bit cramped when you are 6'4 though

Security and Service
