Economy
Value
When I bought this car 5 years ago it was reasonably priced, although due to many being on the market now it is hardly worth anything!
Costs
Parts are easy to come by, (dosn't make any difference that it is a limited edition) although servicing costs are around £400 if something major goes wrong. Petrol and insurance costs are very low!

Driving
Not a bad first car, revs highly, brakes aren't brilliant and clutch is abit of a work out, along with the lack of power steering.
Performance
It's a 1.2 what do you expect? It's not going to make an impression driven down the motorway...but it will get you from a-b cheaply.

Living with it
Reliability
My car has abeen abit of jinx when it comes to relaibility.....it's never broken down on me, or refused to start in the morning but because of it's age it is needing new parts quite often.
Image
I personally dont mind the look of the old shape clio (hence why I have driven one) but it isn't the kinda car thats going to get you noticed unless you've got a blowy exhaust..hehe
Comfort
Again...newer cars will have added comfort, but I've never disliked the way my car handles bumps in the road.

Security and Service
Security
There is no security fitted as standard on the Les Routier, but I fitted one for £100 so it's not expensive, and it's fairly easy to do as long as you have a mechanic as a friend!
Service
In my experience with the clio I owned servicing was my most hated time of the year, it was expensive as lots of things always needed fixing/replacing.
