Summary
What does this car say about you?
It says, I've got a Renault Clio.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Haven't asked the neighbours(I didn't really like them). Dad loves the smooth Gearbox. Mum had a problem with the clutch being a bit heavy(this might have been due to the age of the car - over 100,000 miles at time)
Would you buy this car again and why?
In a flash! Although it would have to be a 1.4 with PAS, as I did find the steering a little heavy
What are you likely to buy next?
Nissan Micra(and yes, as per the last review, just purchased one with my own money!!!)

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£2,095
When did you buy the car?
February 1999
Did you get a good deal and why?
Low mileage and very well looked after. Below the average cost expected at that time
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
My Metro was complete and utter garbage and fell apart at its own accord.
What was the dealer like?
Very friendly family man. Selling to buy something more practical for the family

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Silky smooth. no bumps or vibrations whatsoever. Precise handling, gripped the road like a glove. The engine had a zippy mid-range performance
What's it like to park?
Easy enough. Although its very difficult to judge distances in this car. Its is important to get the 3 inch marker set in stone upon buying the car.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing major. Couple of coolant failures. Fixed easily enough by my local mechanics
What's most practical about your car?
It felt big inside. Plenty of room to swing your arms about
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Very basic model. Nothing distinctive. Had remote central locking retro fitted. This would be my favourite accessory(although I was cheating)
