Value
In comparison to 106 and Saxo, better extras per pound.

On the road
Driving
A little vague and loose due to over keen power steering. Some 30mm progressive lowering springs give it a lovely sure footed feel and also assist under braking.
Performance
As the car is low weight, the 75 BHP feels much more than it is on paper. It has good 8 valve mid-range torque.

Living with it
Reliability
A troublesome sunroof has caused a few problems. The engine has been faultless.
Image
3 door Clio in black looks very chic even now, 8 years after manufacture.
Comfort
Excellent for my partner, who is 5' 1", but dire for me (I'm 6' 1"). As the vehicle is fitted with a factory fitted sunroof, I have to either lean to one side or have the seat well reclined.
