-
Economy
Value
Cheap to buy. Cheap to run. With 40 MPG, it rivals a diesel.
Costs
Some parts are unnecessarily expensive.
-
On the road
Driving
Understeer set-up but a lively rear due to a lack of weight.
Performance
Slow to accelerate, but good in the higher gears.
-
Living with it
Reliability
It's never left me stranded, but with 105,000 miles some things are starting to become worn.
Image
After ten years, this car still looks new, if a little dull. Tinted windows add an expensive look to a dark coloured car.
Comfort
Seats that do not supportive on a spirited drive, but with lumber support, long distance is not a problem.
-
Security and Service
Security
Very poor with no standard alarm.
Service
Never had any work done on the car, but service guys happy to talk to you about any problems.

Problems and Ownership

Engine
The £20 water temp sensor is a common prob as they corrode. Makes engine run very poorly.
