Economy
Value
I reckon I could have got it cheaper. C'est la vie.
Costs
Parts aren't that cheap, I don't think. Nearly 200 quid for a catalytic converter...

On the road
Driving
Nice car to drive. Nippy, comfortable.
Performance
I reckon it's ok for a 1.4 - especially an old engine with a carburetter!
-
Living with it
Reliability
No problems in the first year, but recently it's started playing up, shocks, exhaust, driveshaft, wheel bearings, easier to list what's right with it.
Image
Girlie-car. Not the best look for a 6 foot bloke. And, mine has go-faster stripes. Arrrrgh!
Comfort
Seats are good, a bit tight for headroom - even with the seat as low as I can get it. Space next to the clutch pedal.

Security and Service
Security
It may have an immobiliser, but my mate took precisely 3 seconds to pop the door open with a coat hanger. Best not leave anything in the car!
Service
Can't rate service, never been to the manufacture for a service!

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
Not bad - the engine is running fine while everything else falls apart around it.
Other
Wheelbearings, coil spring, the suspension and wheels are made from soap. My previous Clio had all the same problems.
