Reasonable to buy used, but costs loads to fix (all the time).
Costs
Always someting wrong with it. Trips to the garage average once every 2 months!
-
On the road
Driving
Can oversteer when pushed in the wet.
Performance
Good at high revs. Pulls well up motorway hills in 5th at 80+ mph. Slow to take off at the lights though. Brakes very vague, easy to lock up front wheels.

Living with it
Reliability
Average, lots of things go wrong but it's always driveable. Awkwardness means it's not good for D.I.Y.
Image
Beginning to look dated, still tidy though. Alloys make this car look a lot better.
Comfort
Seats very comfortable, excellent ride, smooth engine.

Security and Service
Security
Very easy to break locks, remote locking doesn't work from a distance.
Service
Very expensive, Airbag computer replaced, free of charge, at 5 years old.

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
New radiator, water pump failed and caused the timing belt to break, the cylinder head needed reconditioning. All in just 42k miles! Copes with long journeys well, I have taken this car to the Alps. Starts easily.
Other
Warped break disks, track rod ends, front wheel bearings, air bag light.
