Economy
Value
Purchased second-hand for 10 grand when 3 years old. Good value back then, but crap at holding price.
Costs
Price seemed fair at time of purchase, but mine was modified so I thought it was excellent value - had 4 grand's worth of extras.

On the road
Driving
Drove pretty good. Had leather interior - nice but sweaty in summer. Car was lowered, so ride could be bumpy and rough.
Performance
Excellent performance for small car. Mine was super chiped, K&N induction kit and full Scorpion exhaust with cat replacement pipe on 165bhp estimated.

Living with it
Reliability
Very reliable. Only real problem was header tank popped 'cause the pessure swith failed to make the fan kick in when engine got hot. Also had quite a few flat batteries, but that's 'cause I have two alarms and immobilisers on.
Image
Very good. Still looks good to this day - have got 16" motorsport rims and a quad conversion on to improve looks.
Comfort
Ok, but again due to lowering can get quite bumpy. Also get a lot of rattle and shakes from crappy interior, but then again - typical French.

Security and Service
Security
Had after-market Clifford alarm put on - can't be too careful these days - too many thieving gits around.
Service
Can't comment here, as I had all servicing done at Halfords - Renault are a rip-off; shop around.
