The ‘Nicole/Papa?’ references will no doubt resurface from time to time, but the driver’s seat of the Clio is a reasonably good place to be. Controls are responsive (although brakes are a little vague) and most people will be able to get reasonably comfortable.
Light, airy interior with space for four adults at a pinch. Provides a supple ride but is fairly noisy – sound-proofing was improved from early 1994. Some find the seat cushions are rather hard. Headroom is good up front, but lacking in the rear for adults.
