Costs
Reasonable fuel consumption (45mpg approx average).

On the road
Driving
Very poor ride quality - skips badly on bumpy roads and a major step back from the previous Clio.
Performance
1.2 engine is smooth but absolutely gutless.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Average - not let us down so far!
Image
Folk seem to like the Clio.
Comfort
Not too good - see ride quality. I'm 6' 3" and it gives me neck strain - seat squabs too short.
-
Security and Service
Security
Seems OK.
Service
The car has gone back twice to Renault for an offside front brake binding - causes a loud squeal. On both occassions I have told the dealer the symptoms, on both times they have ignored me. Poor.
