Summary
What does this car say about you?
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
My Friends joked around when I first got the car, as it wasn't in the best of states. But now it has had a good clean and looks pristine, they now have different opinions. It's a great little car to have a good drive in, and they love to go out in it. My parents love it for me to do little errands in like shopping etc. and to be honest, I do too. I love going out in it. And now it's come home, there are about 5 Clios in our street now, so obviously it's a good little car.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would buy this car again, because it is reliable and has good fuel economy, believe me, £30 goes a long way!
What are you likely to buy next?
I would like to buy a newer car, possibly a newer Clio. But I would maybe settle on something different such as a new Vauxhall Corsa or something similar.

No

£0

Did you get a good deal and why?
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
The car was previously my Gran's, who gave it to me as a first car. As she had bought a newer Renault Clio to replace this one. I always liked this car, so when it was given to me I have done nothing but clean it and given it some needed TLC!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It is very easy to drive and when I was learning to drive in it, the poor thing coped with me well. Even if I wasn't the best driver in the world, it is a very reliable car and is a joy to drive now that I can drive.
What's it like to park?
It is quite a small car so is easy to bay park, but it is a little harder to parallel park as I am quite tall, the seat needs to be as far back as possible. Meaning that the side support pillar can block out my blindspots.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The car needed to have a deep clean and a good drive, and upon driving it down to Devon from Wales, we discovered that there were 2 places which damp had got to; in the Passenger footwell and above the central light in the front (from the Aerial), thus affecting the remote locking sensor meaning that the key remote control doesn't work. But after being dried out for 2-3 months, all signs of damp are gone and the locking sensor has been replaced, costing £50 and the remote locking now works. There was also corrosion on the under-carriage, but this was from lack of use and now the car is frequently used the corrosion has now gone.
What's most practical about your car?
The car has a decent sized boot and although being a small car, can easily fit me and 4 Friends in it for a great day out, along with tons of gear in the boot.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The Car is very basic, and doesn't come with any flashy accessories which doesn't really bother me. The speakers have a very good sound quality though, which is great in the summer sun!
