Renault Clio Hatchback 1.2 16V Dynamique 3d (2001/Y) Owner Review

Handles well in all conditions. Fun to drive with a sporty feel to it. If you lose control it is easy to regain, and I have done that a few times messing round on carparks.

Quiet, a nippy car. Quick off the mark. I've put an induction kit in mine so it’s a lot faster than standard Clios. Does about 0-30 in 4 secs and 0-60 in bout 10.5.

So far so good with mine. If any work does need doing, be prepared to pay. You most likely will have to go to Renault because of special parts and the car is built round the engine, so not much room to spare especially in larger engine models.

The interior is nice in this model but a bit plain in others. Exterior is good with nice sporty alloys. Nice front bumper too with fog lights built in as standard. Shame they couldn't put side skirts on and make the rear bumper more sporty.

The sports seats are excellent. Keeps you in the seat perfect when taking those sharp bends fast. The steering wheel column adjusts for your height as does the front seats. Can be a bit uncomfortable if your over 6ft2. Your knees can get in the way.

Comes standard with immobiliser and Renault anti-intruder. Alloys come with good quality locking nuts. I fitted an alarm to mine for extra security.

Can't really answer that as I bought the car from an independant garage.

Difficult to change certain bulbs due to small engine space.

Service light can be a pain, but i've learnt how to turn it of now.
