Would you buy this car again and why?
Overall I would say yes. May be not a new one due to the rate of depreciation and prefer this shape to the new one.
What are you likely to buy next?
New Vauxhall Astra (nice to drive) or a Japanese car.

I didn't get a good deal, was young and just wanted the shiny new car.

I was only 19 years at the time and was nice to drive and cheap on the insurance.
What was the dealer like?
The dealer was not flexible on the price due to the supposed volume of sales.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Yes. There is a design fault on 'ALL' the clios. The security box which is situated to the rear (centre) of the engine bay moves wilst the car is moving and cuts in to the wiring loom, which in turn causes the car to cut out for no apparent reason. The cost of replacement with a cheap garage is around £400. The caliper carriers also went causing the brakes to make a load bang. The dealer quoted £280 just for parts. Should you encounter such a problem contact a specialised breakers yard, I obtained them for £30 each.
What's most practical about your car?
Its a cheap run around that is good on fuel consumption.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Climate control. Though not worth the upgrade for a fancy LCD screen. Stick with aircon. The seats on this model are a lot more comfortable (sporty).
