Economy
Value
Good value for money as you get 3 years AA cover, free insurance and the usual warranty you would get from a new car.
Costs
Fairly economical, but it is diesel. You have to drive it fairly hard on joining motorways etc.

On the road
Driving
Good. Fairly comfortable. Rear space is cramped, front is plenty of room and you get bucket seats on X-TREME.
Performance
Not too bad, but its diesel. Good round towns and once you're up to motorway speed. Will sit there quite nicely.

Living with it
Reliability
POOR. Both me and another member of family have had problems which include rattling sunroofs, erratic central locking, knocking sounds and idling problems which still have not been sorted out on cousin's.
Image
TOO many around now, and think they are more of a Chick's car than a bloke's. Buy a MINI if you want good image.
Comfort
Good. Poor in rear. Bucket seats hold you in. Stiffer sports suspension can make it bone rattling sometimes.

Security and Service
Security
Erratic central locking. Could have been bad if unlocked itself when away from car, though to this day I don't think it happened.
Service
Renault Dealer Norwich (Relianc) sort of helpful. Didn't return calls and failed to remind me of £100 deposit I left with them, until I was reading over agreement. No other probs with them.
