Renault Clio Hatchback (2001 - 2008) 1.5 dCi Privilege (80bhp) 3d Owner Review

In their own words
Very good diesel engine and transmission, but too small for me. Every time I get in, my knees hit the steering wheel even if I adjust it (I'm 5ft. 10in.). The steering is extremely vague, I can turn the wheel about 40 degrees before the turning process begins, even though I did a wheel alignment service. Not to talk about the back seats where leg room is a no go unless you ask nicely the front passengers to slide their seats forward. Talking about working space under the bonnet, it is laughable. it took me a free day to change the battery and two front headlight bulbs because space is very tight, until I gave up and went to the mechanic and even him took a while to do so. Also, the immobiliser problem when you lock all the doors, after a while the alarm goes off don't know for what reason, so decided not lock the doors anymore. I would not recommend buying this car by any means unless you care only about fuel economy and reliability.
