Summary
What does this car say about you?
Nothing - hopefully nobody notices me in it.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They can't understand how I cope with less the 200bhp - but on the other hand they appreciate what it is actually used for - sitting in rush hour traffic, school runs and taking the dog out.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I may do - probably buy the Clio Renaultsport 200 if buying another clio.
What are you likely to buy next?
Something with 4 wheel drive to ensure I'm prepared for the winter.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£3,500
When did you buy the car?
June 2013
Did you get a good deal and why?
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Vehicle was owned by my partner from new - we traded my car (BMW E92 325i) in against a new one for her as this was the best deal available at the time and we needed two cars.
What was the dealer like?

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It's a small French car - it's what they do best! It is just beginning to feel like it's loosening up a little (33000 miles) - gear change is still notchy when changing into 2nd. It never drops below 40mpg and achieves 400 to a tank (mix of motorway and normal driving).
What's it like to park?
Easy - light steering and plenty of decent vision.
-
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing has gone (touch wood) since the car was bought new in March 2008.
What's most practical about your car?
I'm 6ft 2in and this car is far more comfortable to drive than my BMW or my Saab 9-3.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Renault Anti Intruder Device - as the vehicle is usually driven in busy rush hour travel the self locking system is great for security.
