Renault Clio Hatchback (2005 - 2012) 1.2 16V Extreme 3d Owner Review

In their own words
This is my first car, I can fit a lot of DJ equipment into it when the seats are folded. Very reliable but lacking in power in my opinion. Personally I'd opt for a larger engine or a different car with more power. The 1.2 16V engine is enough for most people, but when all the seats are occupied the car does struggle with gaining speed. The car also struggles on hills, but this is expected due to its small engine - simply changing down a gear or two solves this problem. The steering is very responsive and I've pushed the car to its limits, and it has not failed me. It handles like a go-kart. The suspension is very soft which I like. Speed bumps are handled with ease and the car is very good at tackling bumps/dips in the road.
How reliable do you find the car?
Alternator was broken when I purchased the car, so the battery died a few times. Fixed the alternator myself for £30 and it works lovely now and starts on the dime.About their car
