Renault Clio Hatchback (2005 - 2012) 1.2 16V I-Music 5d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
The irratating niggles could.have been avoided had the option of a higher spec clio been available but this wasn't the case for me,so poverty spec it is and you will regret it. fiddly controls behind the wheel for the cd player crappy aux in that needs an adapter Aircon never seems to.blow in the right direction, u supportive seats that slide your bottom around any slight corner or amber within the road Poor mpg for a modern car, massively underpowered poor Bluetooth system in the I music range however cheap to.insure tax is around £130 per year my advice go for a ton tom edition with a tce engine more.grunt identical mpg and tax and better seats cd player and a sat nav
How reliable do you find the car?
Not anything major wiring loom for the back light (very common problem ) easy fix but irritating because it caused indicators EML and stop light and power steering light to come on air con regas but I suppose for a car if this age I should expect that mai it just wear and tearDoes the car do everything you expected it to do?
My Clio strangely came with a 1.1 not the 1.2 engine advertised, subsequently it is massively underpowered it struggles all the way up to 70 however as a car to do 1-2 mile.journeys I'm sure it's suffices, the I music is based in the expression model so the seats are hideously uncomfy the steering wheel had rake adjustment but not height annoying. The aux input is non standard so you need to buy a adapter £10 at a nationally known motoring store it does 40 mpg at best and driving around the slightest corner and you will slide of your seat but it is a fairly reliable car more so than my vw Passat has been ! Ideal first car or pop to the shop but don't do many miles in this car it will leave you yearning for a chiropractor and feeling let down by performanceAbout their car
