What does this car say about you?

It says i have good taste, and was proud to drive the car.since i had looked into the m.p.g the cheap road tax and the safety aspect and would let all my female friends know i was sure i had picked the best wee car on the road.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

My neighbour asked if i was selling it as i'am always washing, polishing and cleaning it my daughters love it but have told them not to buy a clio.

Would you buy this car again and why?

No!!! i think with the repairs that should not have happened at it's current mileage i will trade it in for another car would not trust another renault clio. i thought the clio would last another 6 years till i retire then buy a new clio but no.

What are you likely to buy next?

I have not a clue i think i will ask my brother in law to help me the next time as he is a mechanic.

It's a long story but i can say i thought i had.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I bought my Clio1.5dci dynamiqueS 2007 because i researched all small hatchbacks to get as i thought the best car i could have for performance, great m.p.g, and reliability.i have had a shock this week as the fuel pump has alloy in it and has left me with quite an expensive bill as the pump has alloy in it and when the pump went put shears of alloy through the fuel system so another fuel pump is needed injectors and of course the fuel tank has to be drained. i would not mind if i neglected the car but it's something i have never done!! So i will never buy another Renault again .I'am so disappointed but i have read on other sights it has happened to other Clio owners.

What was the dealer like?

I think i was so excited at buying my first car from a garage i thought the salesman would keep me right, and the answer to that is no he did not. I was stupid i signed for the car after having a look at it when it was dirty i asked them questions at the time as the towing eye was on the front of the car he told me that it would have been there so it could be put on the back of a small transporter as it was coming from up north i believed him so left it at that. i was told to come back in a few days and they would valet it for me i did go back as agreed and still not happy of what the salesman had said to me. so i spoke to the Manager no joy i had signed for the car and he reminded me of the fact.

What's it like to drive?

It holds its own once you get it going slow taking off.not too noisy for a diesel.

What's it like to park?

Good to park.

Have you had any problems with the car?

The normal things had to be replaced within the first year i bought the car front brake pads and when they were taken off one side was like a pack of cards never seen that before, one of the front wishbones had to be replaced, one of the alloy wheels were bent slightly, and recently the fuel pump problem which is a huge headache.i had hoped the car would have lasted longer as it has only done 48.000 miles.

What's most practical about your car?

The car has very good visibility.m.p.g and plenty of room.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

It was cheap to run it was comfortable and although small enough space inside.and it comes with a good safety rating.i think the directional light are really good practically see round corners.
