Economy
Value
Only paid £13,500 from a UK dealer and got a free tank of fuel and optional CD multichanger thrown in too. It's the quickest and best equipped car for under £15,000 no doubt.
Costs
Is generally doing over 40 mpg most of the time. Doesn't drop much below it when you use the performance. New tyres after 16,000 though. Insurance is a bit steep for the younger driver but servicing is fair enough.

On the road
Driving
Handles like it's on rails and it's such great fun! It will never fail to put a smile on your face. Torque steer can be a slight problem but traction control helps to keep it in check.
Performance
Fairly torquey low down but once you get above 4,000 rpm it's very quick. It will make drivers of many a more expensive car look over their shoulders.

Living with it
Reliability
Never been back to the dealer in 17 months and 20,000 miles of driving. Superb so far.
Image
You can be the envy of many a boy racer and it's surprising how many people do look at it as you drive past. Subtle but sporty.
Comfort
Ride is quite harsh and engine can be noisy but the high amount of standard equipment and the comfortable leather/alcantara seats help to make up for it.

Security and Service
Security
Thatcham category 1 alarm and immobiliser fitted as standard.
Service
When servicing it has been ok but had a number of problems before the car was delivered. It was delayed by a couple of weeks and the dealer was very poor in communicating the problems with me. Ended up dealing with customer services in the end.
