Economy
Value
Bought as an import from UK dealer, so got it for £12,500 rather than £15,500. Extremely well equiped.
Costs
Economical on the open road, but in town it is a tad thirsty at around the 25 MPG mark.

On the road
Driving
Outstanding. The most fun hot hatch I have owned including my old 106 GTi. Does suffer from a nadge of torque steer when really pushed, which is amplified in the wet. Grip and handling is astonishing.
Performance
Ignore the figure supplied by Parker's and it's a real screamer. 0-62 in 7.1 secs and 138 MPH. You have to be in something really special to blow it away.

Reliability
So far, nothing has gone wrong, except for the airbag light that keeps coming on at unpredictable intervals. My Renault dealer says it somethimes happens on this car. He is looking at it next week.
Image
Seems to be recognised by people as a sports car. People tend to want to race you too. This is sometimes tiresome.
Comfort
Ride is suprisingly compliant. The seats at the front are the most comfortable I have sat in, but the rear is cramped. Did 2000 miles in France and was perfect. Climate control with air con is a bonus.

Security and Service
Security
Alarm, deadlocks, immobiliser, 4 airbags, ABS and NCap 4 star rating all as standard.
Service
Don't know yet.
