Summary
What does this car say about you?
Likes a fast car with all the gadgets.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They like the look of the car and always comment on the speed when i give it some. Taller people complain about the rear space, anyone over 6ft cant get in the back.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I really like the car and plan to keep it for quite a few years. I dont know if i would buy it again because i always like something different.
What are you likely to buy next?
Dont really know to be honest, maybe something a little quicker, spacious, depends on circumstances is suppose.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£5,450
When did you buy the car?
July 2007
Did you get a good deal and why?
I got £1000 for a 1.4 corsa sport on a T reg. While they are worth £1200 at least the engine was on its way out so cant complain. I also got two new tires on the back and he touched the paintwork up well for free aswell. Fuel light was on though.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Its a quick car that has lots of nice gadgets and doesnt look too out of place so has a chance of staying on the drive.
What was the dealer like?
Seemed alright but took me 3 weeks to wait for the car to be taxed as he didnt have the log book. Also took a bit of effort to get the tires changed. When deal was done he almost didnt let me take the tax off my corsa (£90 worth) which he said I could originaly.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Fantastic! Holds the road incredibly well. The suspension is stiff so can get pulled around a bit taking the back roads at speed. You also have to be above 5000rpm to get the full 172bhp although even then its not as quick as my lightly modified 106gti. Its not a slow car though.
What's it like to park?
Rear quarter panals are small so view is limited slightly and the turning circle is quite large (compared with corsa) but obviously has power steering and a small car is always easier to park.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Exhaust was blowing after 2 months but looked ropey when i was looking round so expected it. Had plans of a stainless anyway. Air bag light is staying on aswell but is a common problem *check under the passenger seat and squeeze together the white plug* should cure it 9/10 times.
What's most practical about your car?
A fast car usually means its unpractical. But you can easily get 38mpg with a light foot which is far better than my 1.4 corsa at 32mpg. Boot is a fair size aswell for a car this size.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Climate control/air con/automatic light/wipers are all things I never had in car previous to this.
