They all think it's OK. They understand that I have bought this to transport 6 of us in as much comfort as possible.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, definitely. Ford, Seat, Peugeot, Fiat, Chrysler cannot seem to compete with the Espace and it's 5 star safety rating is its best feature - Especially when having kids.
What are you likely to buy next?
Another Espace. Maybe the next model or a later Grand Espace of this model.

A very good deal. Bought the car at more than £1000 less than book price at the time.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Have had the 2 previous versions and have found the versatility that this car offers when having 4 kids can't be beaten by any other manufacturer.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Drives OK. Even though the 2.0 16v engine is supposed to be 140bhp it is not the fastest 2 litre I've driven but it will sit on the motorway at 70 all day with all the family and a fully loaded boot and roof box.
What's it like to park?
No problem. With this being the 3rd Espace I've owned I can't really remember driving anything else.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Gearbox failed before Xmas (very bad timing!) and cost £1255 to get a replacement. Now I have driven this model with a new gearbox I can now see that the gearbox was faulty when bought - You live and learn.
What's most practical about your car?
The rear seats can be completely removed, the backs can be reclined and the whole seat can move forwards and backwards. With having a big 15 year old and a 4 & 5 year old in car seats this offers limitless combinations to make everyone comfortable.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Air conditioning. Never had it before in a car but its essential in summer!
