Economy
Value
Shop around, we got a good deal.
Costs
£40 for an oil filter is a joke. £230 for 1st (& probably last) dealer service; oil & pollen filter changed and the I supplied oil, was a bit too steep.

On the road
Driving
Effortless & plenty of power. Fully loaded it is still very punchy. Very quiet at speed compared to 807, better built.
Performance
Punchy & cruises easily with or without load. Auto box is a delight & returns 30-33mpg.

Living with it
Reliability
Only problem we've had to date was a faulty oil pressure sensor & failed tailgate lock, Dealership fixed both very promptly.
Image
Great sunroof providing lots of light yet can be shut down as per conventional roof on hot/sunny days.
Comfort
Being able to talk normally between front & rear passengers is great. We tried 807 and gave up conversation at above 60mph. Noticed all 807 demo cars we saw had sound aftermarket insulating rubber mats. Espace air con & heated seats could be better.

Security and Service
Security
Alarm is awful. Disable internal sensors by power cycling the ignition several times. Likely to cause premature electrics failure. Would you power cycle a PC several times in 5 seconds - I wouldn't! Don't tend to bother as alarm is quiet - thankfully.
Service
Very expensive. Unimpressed by Renault Customer service knowledge of the car.
