Renault Kadjar (2015 - 2022) 1.5 dCi Dynamique Nav 5d EDC Owner Review

In their own words
I bought this car at one year old with only 3500 miles covered and have been extremely pleased with it. It's comfortable, quiet and very economical. Even though it has the Auto gearbox it still averages 63mpg overall and has zero road tax. I don't have the "S" spec and found I was missing the convenience of a reversing camera, so had one installed for circa £500. The wiring and connectors are already in the wiring loom, so it was a relatively straightforward job for the engineer. I didn't want the S spec with the larger wheels as I found the test car to be not as comfortable as the Dynamique version with the slightly smaller wheels. Apart from setting off, the Auto box is smooth and almost seamless. At low speeds it does sometimes "hunt" around for the best gear. It does, of course, have the manual over-ride if you so wish but I find that I rarely use this. I've done one or two longer journeys with 5 on board and not really noticed any difference in performance. A word of warning though - the middle rear seat is not the most comfortable and best used for short journeys only (unless it's 3 kids in the back). The infotainment system is easy enough to use and quite intuitive without having the fastest response time. Build quality is very good and much better than the last Renault I owned several years ago. Well done Renault!
