Renault Kangoo (1999 - 2008) 1.5 dCi Expression (84bhp) 5d Owner Review

My brother urged me to buy this car (he wanted it, but he needed a bigger one for his caravan!), as it had low mileage (36,000) and it is diesel. It came with roof bars, and it has lovely little storage compartments inside, as well as the shelf above the windscreen. It has a 'finish' on the windscreen, too. I have a drawer underneath the front passenger's seat, and two small trays for the back passengers. It has a front arm rest, although I do not use it, as it gets in my way. I think part of the features are because it is an Expression, but I also think that two of the optional packs were added to my car. The seats are comfy. Mine is Peacock Blue, which I like. My back door (hatch) opens upwards, rather than to the side, which protects you from the rain. :-) The fuel indicator is a bit disconcerting at first, as it goes up in bars, it is not a dial. Mine had it's first MOT, and it failed on emissions (it is diesel) but apart from that there were a couple of advisories, one being the windscreen wipers and the other being one of the tyres. I love it, best car I've owned (although I've not owned THAT many). I would like a newer model, when this one needs to be replaced (though hopefully not for a long time!), but I would want the same features in a newer version (cupboards, etc.), so I hope they will continue to do them, or I will be upset! It has recently been broken into, and therefore, I have discovered that it does not have an alarm! :-(
