Summary
What does this car say about you?
I have no concerns over people's perception of the size of my genitalia.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Daughter wants to sell her Fiesta now and get (an ordinary) Kangoo. Wife wants the E320CDI Estate back - but she's a bitch and knows nothing anyhow:-)
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, absolutely. Versatility and comfort.
What are you likely to buy next?
Dunno, I've owned 113 cars in 29 years, ownership ranging from 9 years (Merc 300D) to 1 day (Rotten Volks Camper).

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£2,250
When did you buy the car?
January 2009
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes. I don't think he knew what it was. an 03 DCi Trekka for £2250 was a steal.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Utilitarian, but comfortable. I wanted an economical 4x4 that could carry 5 people, a paramotor without dismantling it....that could double as a van and tow car
What was the dealer like?
Friendly and chatty. Even at £2250 cash, he admitted he was making £400 profit from the trade in allowance he gave.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Stiff 4x4 suspension means it handles like a go-cart....if you ignore the tall body leaning a bit.
What's it like to park?
Wee buns...plus easy to spot when you come back.
-
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing. The front CV joints are now clicking like a nagging wife's tongue if you give it too much throttle coming out of a junction, but treated gently they will last another year or so.
What's most practical about your car?
Space. I can tow the racecar, put all the tyres and other stuff in the back, get changed in it and park on the grass..., then go to work in it on Monday.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
4x4. I went out to play in the snow last winter and got to the top of a 700ft pass. There was only me and 2 'Lara Croft' style Landrovers got there.
