It's a bit quirky but like the design (be prepared for pope mobile jibes)

YES I'll never buy a normal car again. The Trekka is way to useful and practical a car / van whatever it is.

Did you get a good deal and why?
These cars 2nd hand are like hens teeth, had been trying to get one for a while. So yes stoked with picking it up.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Practical design, versatile from family car to moving furniture, camping or 600kg of payload in the back. It's great fun to drive and I love the fact it looks 'different' from the norm.
What was the dealer like?
the guy selling it was broken hearted to let it go. Very easy to deal with.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Great fun, very torquey and useful towing laden trailers. Quite capable off road too for it's size. Lets not forget it's van over 80mph on the motorway can be loud as it needs a 6th gear.
What's it like to park?
Easy, even a child could park it. (Did I mention it's easy to find in a car park too!)

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
New Brake Pads and a centre bush for the 4WD propshaft. Source parts else where as renault dealerships are VERY Expensive
What's most practical about your car?
High Ground clearance and 4WD mean it's very sure footed. If there's snow or flooding it's worth it's weight in gold.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Hinged rear door for loading stuff in rain, it's Ireland, it rain's a lot, go figure... Side doors are great for getting kids in in supermarket car parks etc. No need to put your back out in the process.
