Summary
What does this car say about you?
Well I'm a 22 year old male, it's not particularly a young persons car, friends have asked if I 'borrowed my dads car'. At least in dynamique trim the car makes up for the image a little bit with a spoiler and 17 inch alloys, but to be honest at least it does everything I need.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They like the comfort of it, but I guess I haven't told them some of the problems I've had.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Maybe not a laguna, the style of the large family car is now old fashoined, and families are either buying MPV's or small or large SUV's. And what I've just gathered from that is that I'm not a family man, and I really need to think next time about what car I need rather than making a last minute decision.
What are you likely to buy next?
Something smaller and sporty like an Alfa Romeo Mito.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Well looking back I think the car was overpriced plus the part exchange price on my old car wasn't too great.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Wanted value for money, a 5* safety rating, diesel, good mpg with good space, boot size and a good spec.
What was the dealer like?
Helpful, but again I'm not happy about the part exchange price

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Good, the diesel engine is a little noisy, the six speed gearbox is good.
What's it like to park?
Not so easy because of the size, parking sensors would make it easier. But because of its size I'm thinking of downsizing when I sell it.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Passenger window regulator needs to be replaced; but I'm leaving it. I got the aircon regassed but it stopped working to normal standard after a month - guess the condenser is leaking. Front suspension spring needed to be replaced and was almost ready to collapse which would have punctured the tyre, some knocks and squeaks in the cabin - a bit irritating and reminds me of my dad's montego in the 90's!
What's most practical about your car?
Space is good, but looking at it now, the car is really too big for parking in towns or cities.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Push button start, centre armrest which is spacious inside - every car should have one.
