Would you buy this car again and why?
Probably, but it would have to be a late Phase 2 model or a Laguna III.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
The ride is very comfortable on long motorway drives but can be a bit harsh around town and on country lanes. The engine isn't particularly powerful for a 2 litre but it pulls well from low speeds and can be driven it 5th gear at speeds as low as 30 mph with very little drama.
What's it like to park?
It's surprisingly easy to park for a large car but the optional reversing sensors would help as the rear is quite high.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Apart from the compressor, the throttle pedal had to be replaced and the pins on the throttle body connector were quite badly corroded which was causing the car to drop into "limp-home" mode. Now it's all fixed with the help of a well known auction site and a tame mechanic the car is running perfectly at a cost of only £160. Although the car had been serviced a about 3 months before I bought it the cabin filter hadn't been changed and was clogged with dirt which caused the air con to run the fan at full speed in automatic mode.
What's most practical about your car?
Plenty of boot space.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Cruise control and speed limiter.
