Summary
What does this car say about you?
I don't really know to be honest but I know the mk2 Lagunas likes me otherwise I wouldn't like it lol.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Some say car is nice, some say it's rubbish but obviously everyone's tastes are different.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes I would buy this type of car again depending on when as I really like owning this type of car I may own this current one I have for another couple of years.
What are you likely to buy next?
Don't really know at the moment but it maybe something different or another Laguna again time will tell.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£3,295
When did you buy the car?
February 2012
Did you get a good deal and why?
At the time when looking it was a good deal but obviously with the reputation of these cars the prices have dropped especially on the mk2 phase 2 facelift Laguna in-which is a better buy as I have heard this one is more reliable than the phase 1's.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I have owned a mk2 Laguna previously and also own the owners club of this particular model which is www.mk2lagunaoc.com I have had my second Laguna for the past 18 months and has been a good reliable car.
What was the dealer like?
The dealer was very helpful but I already saw the car I wanted on autotrader so I knew which car I wanted straight away.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
The car is ok to drive but I would say for nowadays especially cars have changed in how they drive quite a lot now I would say that this car is on the slightly heavy side other than that at the price you pay for the car (if you do pay a good price for it) that it isn't a bad drive.
What's it like to park?
Sometimes can be difficult to judge how large the car is sometimes you think it's larger than it is you have the rear parking sensors to help you but they leave slightly too much space at the rear for my liking sometimes you want to to just go that 2 or 3 inches more and that would be it otherwise I would say it isn't too bad.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
So far I've had to replace rear disc brakes and the air con compressor (this is a very common problem with Laguna if air con doesn't work this may be the problem). So far have spent £130 on repairs the last 18 months from writing this review.
What's most practical about your car?
The space for passengers in the rear as there is plenty of legroom and squeeze in 5 adults without a problem and carrying a lot of stuff in I have managed to get a bike in the boot with seats down of course was a struggle to get in a little bit but we got there in the end and I had loads of other stuff in the car so it's a very useful large boot for a hatchback.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Having Climate Control that finally works now, electric windows all round, the engine, spolier which is standard I know already but without one it doesn't look as good and having 4 ciggy sockets, I have found them very useful as I was using 2 to 3 at the same time and they are in locations you want them to be.
