Summary
What does this car say about you?
Safe, smart and enjoys something a little bit out of the ordinary.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
I've never owned a car which has attracted so many positive comments over it's looks. Everyone whose been in it has loved the car.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, definately. It's comfortable, spacious, quiet and just a little bit posh!
What are you likely to buy next?
No idea - no plans to change for a few years.
-
Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£7,300
When did you buy the car?
March 2012
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes - the car was four years old, but had only done 8,000 miles due to being owned by an elderly gentleman. Great condition!
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
What was the dealer like?
The salesman was very helpful and my experiences so far have been ok, though I'll service the car outside the Renault network.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very comfortable. Easy to cover long distances in as both driver and passenger. The car isn't "sporty" but it's certainly capable and always feels sure footed and safe. The engine never feels breathless and pulls smoothly across the rev range.
What's it like to park?
Despite being a large car, it's a doddle to park as it has front and rear parking sensors. Being an automatic it can be tricky to judge very small movements but certainly no complaints.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The front parking sensors tend to think there's a wall in front of you when it rains, and the 12v socket in the front doesn't work but otherwise no problems yet.
What's most practical about your car?
Good sized boot, spare 12v socket in the boot space.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
There aren't really any gadgets as such but I do like the trip computer.
