My mum was quite upset that time it broke down on the motorway with her in it.

Never, I wouldn't even buy a French car again

No, I wasn't thinking straight and bought it for the forecourt price.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
In a rebellious moment because I had been stuck with a car I didn't like
What was the dealer like?
Very nice, up until I drove away from the forecourt.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Surprisingly, amazingly good. When it was working it was great on the motorway, and cornered on rails. Please don't let this tempt you into buying one though.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
It needed a new engine literally five minutes after I bought it, at 21,0000 miles. I managed eventually to get the dealer to pay for this, it took five weeks for them to do it. It has also had a new gearbox after it disintegrated on the motorway at 70mph (at 27,000 miles), new suspension twice, an intermittent problem with the tailgate lock, and ingress of water into the nearside rear door. Also, the trim keeps falling off. The trip computer has never worked either.
What's most practical about your car?
The seats are really comfy. Handy for those hours I have spent sat at the side of the road waiting for the AA.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The heater is quite good. Also handy for February afternoons at the side of the road with my hazard lights on.
