Summary
What does this car say about you?
Being a cabriolet it will always be seen as 'showy' by some - especially as the roof looks great in motion.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Everybody loves it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would definately buy this car again. It's ticks all the boxes for me - 4 seats, cabriolet, hard top, spacious, practical, affordable to run & attractive.
What are you likely to buy next?
Another 4 seat hard top cabriolet.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£9,000
When did you buy the car?
March 2011
Did you get a good deal and why?
Purchased from a 'crafty' well known car supermarket giant. Sales experience seemed wonderful at the time however I was missold a very expensive warranty. I purchased the policy to protect myself in case of a roof fault. Turns out that nothing to do with the roof is covered. Only parts 'specifically listed' on the car are covered. Nobody prepared to take responsibility.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
For a 4 seat hard top cabriolet it is a very cheap car to insure. The tax is reasonable. The car has great features - cruise control, aircon, glass roof, multimedia conrtolls on the steering wheel. The car is also very attractive and practical in terms of boot and rear seat space for a car of this calibre.
What was the dealer like?
Very friendly when they are getting your interest. Not so interested once you have bought the car. My advice would be to always check out the aftersales/service department thoroughly before you purchase as that is the side of the dealer you will deal with mostly as an owner. Don't assume it will be as glamorous as the sales department.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
The car is lovely to drive. The steering is very light. Visibility is great having a full size rear window and no door pillars which are normally right in my view as I am 6"3 so sit quite far back. This is by no means a performance car though - It is a heavy car and the engine is not designed for speed. Who would buy this car to race around in anyway? It's a cruiser!
What's it like to park?
Visibility is great however the boot is long to I would recommend parking sensors.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Slight leak where the roof meets the windscreen. I have been advised I need replacement seals.
What's most practical about your car?
Massive boot when the roof is up. Very generous space when the roof is down (I can get a weeks shopping in the boot and still drop the roof). Enough space for 4 large adults.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Electric folding hard top roof. Cruise control. Keyless entry. Heated mirrors. Handy button to de-mist the windows quickly.
